Earthquake in Sumatra
Padang and other city in sumatra was rocked again by an earthquake.The earthquake began at 1:18 a.m., 176 kilometers (109 miles) west from Bengkulu, Sumatra, and was 3 kilometers deep, the USGS said. No damages or injuries were immediately reported.
Dozens of homes were damaged and a health clinic was leveled yesterday in the wake of a 6.6 magnitude quake that prompted the U.S. Pacific Tsunami Warning Center and the Japan Meteorological Agency to warn about a “very small possibility” of a “destructive local tsunami” in the Indian Ocean.
Till at this time the Padang and sumatran inhabitants were still worried would the arrival of the aftershock and the tsunami.
beacuse aftershock till now was often happening.
